Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Although the views were not perfect on the early autumn Sunday morning when I visited, they were still inspiring. There is a good parking spot nearby.

If you like sightseeing... you're in the best spot! Once you arrived on the top of the Cape, you can enjoy a magnificent view of cliff shores of Cote d'Opal. Moreover, with clear sky, Dover is well visible in front of you, with its white cliffs. You can feel the power of nature... strong northern winds will sweep your face!

We saw the English white cliffs exceptionnally clearly from that view point, it was really so very nice, and not too crowded either.

We hiked the GR 120 all the way from the Belgian border to get here, a great walk following the beautiful coastline...the cap itself is a nice viewpoint (but very windy, you might wanna hold on to your hat!)...for those who drive here, there's a free parking area nearby

Walk along the coast, then walk along the marked route. Slight elevation and after it wonderful views. If it is not raining or foggy, the success of this trip is guaranteed. If there is no strong wind, you can find a picnic area and have a romantic atmosphere.

Amazing views from up here a short walk from the car park. We saw the white cliffs as if they were a short stroll away, but then we were blessed with calm, clear skies today. Worth a stroll to the viewpoints and the monument.

An amazing place to visit and walk round. We came back again in the same holiday on a clearer day. Amazing to see the UK coastline and the ferries in the channel. Wonderful unspolt area.

We drove past in the rain on our first day and returned in glorious sunshine on our last day. It was busy but there was plenty of parking. Easy walk up to the monument and the most stupendous views across the channel to the white cliffs. Afterwards we drove down to the beach which was also lovely with wide sands...
