Used to love this part of the coastal walk and I'd hoped the building works would be completed by now. Not the case. When the tide is in, the beach feels narrow where the new accommodation units loom up on the sand. It all feels...More

Great walk into St Ives from here. Lovely beach and decent cafe next to it. All seems up market and a lot of building going on.

Carbis Bay beach was once a beautiful place to visit, however, due to the expansion of the Carbis Bay Hotel, which I believe has ruined the beach, I won’t be coming back. My experience was marred by the huge ugly building right on the beach.

A bit more open than some in St Ives. Lovely clean white sand and boys love the stream, perfect for damming. Nice cafe behind.

There were dogs on the beach in March but I'm pretty sure they said that dogs are not allowed on the beach in high season.
