Spectacular from any and every angle, take a walk around the town to see this castle from every view before you visit, truly magnificent. It's a bit sparse inside but still an interesting and intruiging building. It dominates it's surroundings.

This chateaux is in a beautiful village in France and from the outside looks amazing, however the inside for myself, was a little disappointing, as it contained mainly exhibit lead pieces for roofing. It was purchased by Napoleon for restoration, but unfortunately, was never lived...More

What an amazing place! Stunningly beautiful castle to wander around at your leisure. The village of Pierrefonds looked lovely too with it's many cafes & shops. Definitely somewhere to return to!

A castle that will not disappoint. The day we visited it was free admittance but lovely to see it after loving the tv series Merlin. Amazing place and lovely day spent in Pierrefonds.

The Chateau itself is lovely, and very interesting, and offers superb views across the surrounding countryside and village itself. Followed up with a very nice lunch on the banks of the lake. Well worth a visit.

well worth going to - the views are spectacular. If you can ignore the grumpy lady who sells the tickets that is a bonus !!

Quite a cheap morning out costing about 14 pound for 2 adults to visit as young kids go free. Worth a visit and we spent an hour inside (the kids loved it at first but by the hour had had enough). Walk into the village...More
