We enjoyed our visit to ‘Merlins’ Castle although we were surprised there was no mention of the very popular British TV series, without which we wouldn’t have visited.

This is a cool castle to see from the outside but not much to see inside. There is a film playing with background but we couldn’t figure out how to get the translator to work. We did not get the headphones but followed a map...More

The castle is truly amazing. We used an audio guide which is very helpful to understand the history of the area. The village is beautiful!

Beautiful location. Well worth a visit. Pay to go in. Lots to see. Nice walks and gardens. Don’t miss the nearby village. Very pretty.

We came here with my husband and 9 year old. The ticket could be bought for a combo of this plus another nearby castle, Coucy. The self guided tour took about 1.5 hours. The castle was lovingly restored in the late 1800s by Napoleon III....More

We were all very impressed with this Chateau. Nothing more to add to the other positive reviews. The Dining Hall was immense. Currently an interesting King Arthur exhibition. I would not recommend this for wheelchair users or those with mobility difficulties as access to upper...More

Spectacular from any and every angle, take a walk around the town to see this castle from every view before you visit, truly magnificent. It's a bit sparse inside but still an interesting and intruiging building. It dominates it's surroundings.

This chateaux is in a beautiful village in France and from the outside looks amazing, however the inside for myself, was a little disappointing, as it contained mainly exhibit lead pieces for roofing. It was purchased by Napoleon for restoration, but unfortunately, was never lived...More
