Really interesting castle with stunning grounds, an interesting exhibition and a fascinating history. Clive of India lived there with his wife Henrietta - and both had an exciting time in India.

This was our second visit to Chirk Castle, we enjoyed seeing all the snowdrops on a cold February day- the garden was just as lovely on a warm August day-found the castle very interesting- a lovely place to visit.

I have not heard of this nt site before and am into my 2nd year as a member. The castle itself is interesting to look around and had knights outside doing reanactments etc the gardens are lovely and views also, we spent 3 hours here...More
