I rented a car and drove all the way to the northern tip of Okinawa on my first day on the island. It's a nice drive and a good way to escape the urban sprawl in the south. Cape Hedo is quite a pretty location...More

We loved our trip to Cape Hedo. Beautiful landscape, lovely rock formations, and neat attractions in the area that all made it worth the drive. There are hiking trails nearby that have excellent rock formations. There is also a huge bird-shaped (you heard me) observatory...More

My family and I spent almost 3 hours at Cape Hedo, constantly being refreshed by the cool ocean/sea wind after an long arduous drive. Getting there and fees: we drove from Motobu to Cape Hedo (mapcode 728737152*55) in about 2.5 hours. The duration of the...More

We drove from Naha Airport all the way here for 2 hours just to see this place, it is absolutely beautiful. take the time to walk around and soak in the scenery. I have never seen such pretty turquoise water with blue skies.

Cape Hedo concessions have been renovated since my last trip there. However the views over the cliffs are spectacular and the trails around the site are well maintained.

It was a nice scenic drive from Naha City to this most northern edge of Okinawa. Speed limit was between 40 km/h and 60 km/h. The drive was about three hours. The views at the Cape were great indeed. It was very windy out here...More
