We stayed at the Okuma Beach Resort nearby and we actually walked from the hotel to the waterfall and back. The hotel is almost 3k away from the start of the trail so it was a decent bit of exercise, but we like walking. The...More

It's a 20 minutes walk from the bus stop to the trail head. Hardly see anybody, other than cars passing by occasionally which can be a bit scary to go solo (maybe it's just me, since the area is supposedly rather safe). Upon reaching the...More

It was a nice little trek to get to the waterfall. Once there you can sit and have lunch and enjoy the view. There is also a trail that you can climb to get to the top of the waterfall. I wouldn't jump off of...More

I heard great things about this waterfall so we drove specially here to see it. Used google maps and it brought us to a totally different location just one street away into an unpaved, forested path, i wish i took a picture but it was...More

Hike is beautifully kept, and many stairs to walk. Many butterflies, and creepy crawlers along the way. Bring lots of water and bug spray for the Okinawa humidity. One suspension bridge to walk across that may be a little scary for smaller children. Small fee...More

This is a 23 m water fall. 1.4km walk into the forest. It is actually quite a tedious walk, with alot of steps and steep slopes. I wouldn’t recomend this walk for the elderly or those with a poor fitness review.

In general this was a beautiful hike...lovely foliage, beautiful butterflies, birds, other wildlife, and a pretty waterfall. However, as others have written it was a steep hike with lots of up and down stairs. The heat and humidity only added to the effort. My son-in-law...More
