This is the largest of the 4 ski resorts which caters to skiers of all levels. Very busy even in April. Opens until May. Snow was still good for spring ski.

Worst rental experience ever! Rude staff and very poor service on collection. On return we were 1 hour late and charged for a full day, again met with poor customer service. Average equipment to boot... many better shops with superior staff and equipment in town....More

By the way, I would not restrict your skiing to Grand Hirafu. Hanazono and Annupuri are also very nice. If you are an advanced skier, you may want to ski a bigger area. The 4 ski resorts are interlinked. You can ski across... More
