If you're visiting Le Treport, or indeed the adjoining seaside town of 'Mers-les-Bains', take a walk round to the base of the cliffs, where you'll find a funiculaire railway station to the top of the cliffs. It's FREE, yes, completely free (not like in England,...More

Free way to see the magnificent views from the top of Le Tréport cliffs. Well worth trying out, steps to walk down if you want a bit of variety.

A great idea connecting the. Luff top and the town. Seems to get very busy at certain times and many French don’t queue well but it does a great job

Don't miss the Funiculaire in Le Treport, you get a nice view on the city and the cliffs for free! Enough parking space on the top available for 2,50 EUR a day.

Quite crowded little pods but this is worth a visit, you just pay for parking at the top. Great views and stunning engineering visible as you descend through the cliff. Short and popular with the locals for getting about.
