The sculpture is very close to the old Hotel Iya onsen, walking distance. It’s actually just next to the road, if you drive pass by you will not get notice but anyway, they are some people taking pictures on the road which will take your...More

While the view from the site is quite nice, who cares about the statute? It sits on a rock by the road above the gorge and river. But that’s about it. There are so many gorgeous views along this road there’s not much point in...More

The statue itself was not that spectacular but the drive up there was scenic. Find a spot to stop and admire the natural beauty of the environment.

Aside from this small statute, there is no other touristic attractions in the neighbourhood. The green valley view is nice, and perhaps one would expect a wonderful red valley view in the Autumn.

It is just a small statute by the roadside near a bus stop. Not anything spectacular but the view overlooking the mountain and the valley was magnificent.
