You need a car to drive to Nita pass and take the ropeway to the top of Myoken Station. Must visit if the sky is clear. Beautiful and breathtaking view.

this was an on-the-way kind of stopover since we were passing by and driver had to stretch their legs. not a big deal if you ask me, as there are definitely even more scenic sights/spots as you take the hilly mountain roads!

If you drive, there is car park near the lookout deck. If you walk, spare a day. Both works well. Hiking is excellent if the weather is good.

Only worth the trip if still at the height of the KOYO season, when the leaves turn color. There's a bus leaving on fixed times, 430 yen one way.
