It was very simple to get to madarao snow.... this was wonderful because we were travelling with a little 3 year old. The bullet train and the bus ride from Tokyo were not too arduous. It is definitely doable! Madarao is small but well accessible....More

Great snow and plenty of chairlifts! Was able to snowboard to the bottom of the chairlift directly from the lodge I was staying at (Haken by active life) in the morning and then snowboard back to the lodge at night. I recommend getting a pass...More

If you like offpiste, this might be the place as they "prepare" the terrain cutting few trees before the snow season, so you have more space to ski in the authorized/signaled offpiste area. However, the mountain is short, so the number of tracks and offpiste...More

Small but well-equipped resort with 16 lifts and variety of slopes for all abilities. A number of good food choices around the mountain. There is also skiing access to other resorts close by.

A resort on the come back, clearly investment going on, epic snow and epic runs, for all levels. A few lifts could be upgraded to go a bit faster, but still no queues ... and the the legs need time to rest after 80cm deep...More
