Wat Phra Kaew is quite a nice temple, but three of the first seven reviews shown here are for the temple of the same name in Bangkok! Not very helpful for visitors to Chiang Khong.

This is a great place with cultural significance. It can get very crowded. Make sure you are there early. Also to avoid the heat

This place is huge! Very busy with tourists and you need to spend some time there to try to see it all but very worth your time. Beautiful Temples and buildings to see. I will definitely go back on my next trip.

just have a time at morning not too hot, At noon maybe not a good time. Thai and the temple is the way of life here. Nice place to visit.

I have live in Chiang Rai for 10 years. When friend come to visit, I always take them here. It is best to visit on week days because it is not so crowded.
