There is not all that much of the castle left and it is a steep climb up to the ruins on the crag above the town. An even steeper climb up to the topmost part of the castle tower itself. It is worth it though...More

We drove from Seville to Ronda and made a stop in Olvera for a few hours. Beautiful white hill town. Climb up the arab castle was rewarding with gorgeous views. It was a little chilly at the end of March and windy, but still very...More

You'll have to walk uphill a bit to get to the castle, but it's not too bad if you are used to doing a bit of hiking every now and then. On the day we went, I think there was maybe one other family in...More

This was our first visit to Olvera - the castle is situated at the top of a very steep hill but it was definitely worth the effort. It was only 2 Euros to enter and this included a visit to the onsite museum so it...More

The Arab Catle is nice but it takes a while to go up, expecially if it's hot. You have a good view of the Pueblo Blanco of Olvera from he Castle.

Price of admission €2.00 includes the museum. Get water for a hot day as it's a climb up many steep stairs. That castle sits on top of the rock. As castles go it's nothing to write home about, small and unfurnished but the views are...More

My wife visited the castle as we were driving from Malaga to Sevilla. When we arrived there was one couple already in the castle. We were let in and allowed to explore on our own. It was very peaceful. It really is incredible how this...More
