It is a 2.25 mile walk round trip to the waterfall, some of it uphill. I would say give yourself a good 2 hours to see it. Make sure you wear sensible shoes too. The view is spectacular when you get there.
What a great way to spend a morning or afternoon. We parked just off the road in the few parking spaces. We didn't know further up towards the fall is another car park. It is quite challenge to someone who isn't fit like me. It...More
Lovely walk with beautiful scenery along the way. Walk takes around 1 and a half hours to complete. Waterfall is beautiful, it was very cold this time of year so wrap up warm! Appropriate walk to take young children and dogs along with you. Would...More
If you're planning a walk up to the falls, go early. It is a single track road leading to the car parks and they get very busy. Weather was drizzly but meant that we were able to get loads of pictures as it was generally...More
We stopped here for a little walk before we set off home and glad we did. A lovely gentle walk up to the falls with beautiful scenery along the way. Well worth a visit. And the little cafe as you leave is amazing! Stop off...More
Our second visit with the children. Pram accessible walk, beautiful surroundings. We were disappointed today to see that there were lots of dog poop bags, hanging on the trees, fence and in lots of the holes in the trees. Why go to the bother of...More
A beautifully scenic walk is rewarded with stunning views of this great waterfall. Having walked at the end of a December day, there weren't too many people around and, I'm guessing, there was more water coming down than there would be in the summer.
Aber Falls in summer, at the height of the tourist season is often disappointing, it can get busy and is often not much to look at. Go in the winter though, after it has been raining for a week and the Falls are spectacular. Its...More
Oh my god what a breath taking place to visit. The falls are amazing, the views out standing. If you've never been then get yourself there as soon as you can. If you don't believe me you're really missing out.
There are circular walk options available if you want to extend your visit, easy to work out a route from an OS map. Also there is a nice route that goes over the top of the falls, not recommended in winter though

I'd say it was doable, path is flat and a steady incline although gravel. I think you're best going to the top car park as the bottom one leads to steps up and over to the bridge to get across the stream.
