Lovely place to take the grandkids for a picnic brunch/lunch. Lots of activities to keep the kids amused, plus exploring the jetty area is an added thrill for the kids.

Wow just wow! Windy day but this spot was protected. Water was clear, didn’t look like a river. Amazing swans and birdlife. So picturesque! Looking forward to going again.

Great weather for this year's concert. Kids enjoyed it, but bouncy castle was a bit too rough. Good display of fireworks. Wish there were more food trucks.

This place is a lovely spot for a picnic or to hang out outdoors. There is ample outdoor space to spend some time in the sunshine. It's also great for a run or a jog.

A spit of sand leading to Point Walter is formed by currents in the Swan estuary. Sometimes the tides submerse it. When we went, part was closed because rare birds were breeding. The near part of the spit is quite smelly, but this is very...More

Point Walter is home to a massive sand spot that you can walk along way into the river. Actually this sand bar seperates the river so that boats have to travel around to continue from Perth to Freo or visa versa. Great spot for the...More

Point Walter is on the river. You can walk along the sandbar which takes you right out into the Swan River. You can walk along the river on the footpath. Stop at the cafe for a morning coffee or tea

Great location next to the river that is a hidden gem. It really surprises me how many people have never visited or don't know it exists. Great for families.

Beautiful view, boring and pretty unhealthy menu, most deepfried/crispy/xtra crispy... god for kids as there is a good playground and safe distance to the river.

I can no reason why not there’s plenty of space there. If this person wanted to check 100% they could call the Melville Shire Council.
