Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited this little chocolate 'factory' hoping to see the production line working. Unfortunately only the shop was open but we were able to see the finished chocolate range and purchase anything we fancied. We each bought a large chocolate bar and thoroughly enjoyed them - they were delicious. So if you are into sweet treats, I can recommend Rosy Glow but otherwise give it a miss.

Called in here after new year. Small cute place, very quaint. Chocolates were very decadent and rich. Lovely cordials which made great thank you gifts.

Only found by chance as there was no advertising in the town or on main road - that we saw - by driving around the waterfront. Rosy pink coloured restored villa with an entrance around the sound, walked into a treasure trove of chocolates. Rang the bell and were greeted by a charming chocolaterier (hope that's correct description) immaculately dressed in 40's (I think) period who was most helpful. We made a smallish selection and continued on our travels eating delicious chocolates for the rest of the day.

Lovely service, amazing selection of size and flavors and such mouth-watering treats. Best chocolates I have tasted worldwide!
Can't resist each time I am in Golden Bay -worth the drive.
Eat chocolate & walk on the beach.

Oh my goodness, we did spend a bit of money here, and it was well worth it. We bought chocolates for ourselves and some for gifts. So delicious and what a great variety to chose from. If you are a serious chocolate or sweet lover, this place is a dream. I would most definitely return and buy more.

Bit tricky to find, but well worth the visit. Great selection of chocolates, friendly helpful staff. And the chocolates among the best I've ever had. Only regret was not buying more!

Wonderful welcome and great chocolate. Sadly so good it didn't last too long. Should have bought more. Definitely recommended if you're anywhere near.

Everyone should go here to try the chocolate, it has different flavours but so tasty.
The chocolate is smooth and melt in the mouth
Small sizes, good prices, tasting to most palettes.
This cutesy town is like stepping back in town. Take the 2 mins out of your drive to farewell spit and visit this chocolate store !!

We popped in, and it's literally the very end of the line, there ain't no where else to go! Lovely old home, quite unassuming, but the display cabinets were bursting with temptation and the very charming hostess, was delighted to share with us her knowledge of the products, and her joy of being a part of the place. It is higher priced product, but we had our own coffee and tea in the camper, so we selected a treat each and went off to the waterfront to have a very spectacular chocolate smorgasbord morning tea. Lovely products, well presented, a great wee stop on a rainy day.

Absolutely beautiful locally made chocolate a wide selection to choose from. Service is friendly and helpful. A hidden gem. You can order on line but only for delivery in New Zealand as NZ customs officers apparently have more than 1 sweet tooth. I may have to consider immigrating to NZ to enjoy these treats again. Variety boxes of bars make a great gift.

I was just dreaming about your chocolate ginger delights. I'm an ex Collingwood girl, born & went to school there, many long years ago. Whenever I visit back there I always call in for my favourite ginger chocolates.
