Quick stop on way back to cruise ship in Puntarenas after Rainforest Hanging Bridges & Skywalk Tour. Souvenir shop and drinks stall at bridge. View crocodiles looking down from bridge or from the riverbank. Good photo opportunity.

We loved this excellent stop on our trip from San Jose to Quepos. There were hundreds of crocodiles! Great photo opportunity. Nearby restaurants and souvenir shops. Highly recommend the stop. Walk out on the bridge and see the huge crocs!

Definitely worth a quick stop to snap some photo's and observe safely from above. Beware that the traffic still drives by so keep your small ones close. You are more in danger from passing vehicles than you are from the crocodiles down below. Couple of...More

This was a fun and quick stop to see a bunch of crocs in their natural habitat. Not worth spending more than 5 minutes here- good to see and head out. Being on the bridge feels a little dangerous because of the cars going high...More

Crossed the bridge by coincidence, stopped for a coffee break. Really awesome and scary, lots of crocodiles under the bridge, waiting for something, are they waiting for you? ;-)

Amazing how they congregate just under the bridge, makes you wonder if they’re fed from the bridge by locals to attract them there. Nevertheless it’s quite a spectacle.

Very cool to see these prehistoric looking creatures in their habitat...if you're traveling alone or in a large group, it's really worth the stop!

I live in Florida and I am very used to seeing alligators in my backyard (literally). So the experience might be mor interesting for someone else. That said these crocodiles were impressive in size and numbers. I don't find the bridge particularly safe. The sidewalk...More

You park at a stand/store before the bridge and leave your car (locked) It's bit harrowing walking along a narrow bridge, but when you get to the middle and look down it's quite shocking. It's worth it to have a look on both sides but...More

If your'e going over the Tarcoles Bridge then it's a no brainer to stop and see the several crocodiles below. They're always there and if you haven't seen them before, it's a marvelous sight. Only takes a few minutes and well worth it.

We didn't see any, but Caracara National Park is just down the highway and is supposed to be a great spot to see birds.
