Speightstown is worth visiting for its pleasant, laid back atmosphere and its beautiful beaches, but not for any particular sights. If here anyway one can go and visit the Saint Peter Parish Church and the Speightstown Murals at the town's southern end. There is a...More

Interesting insight and interpretation of local history in a tromp l'oeil artwork. Particularly dramatic from the beach or the bar with a rum punch!

Nice artwork that is a bit different from usual but is suffering from weathering and the area is a bit run down and needs spruced up to be worth making a visit.

The Speightstown mural is a clever piece of local artwork adorning the walkway leading towards the coastline. The trompe l'oeil effect is very well executed and really draws the viewer into the painting. Speightstown is worth talking a walk through just to see little gems...More
