Built in 1847 the house looks like a southern plantation style mansion. It was the home of Queen Lili'uokalani the last Hawaiian Queen before she was deposed by the "provisional government" but these days it is the Governors House.

Washington Place is a standard stop on any city historical tour you book book with most tour companies and It's a stunning building. It's usually inluded with stops to Iolani Palace, Aliiolani Hale, Hawaii Capital Historic District.
