Walked along the coastline from our hotel the Hilton Village to this beach which was lovely. The water blue and calm. Walk across the street for shopping and eating.

Waikiki beach is so relaxing, with warm waters, and extremely clean. It’s the perfect place to enjoy time to just relax and do nothing but sun bake and swim. The waters are calm and beautiful

Always lots happening for you to be entertained even if just sitting on one of the benches on the grassed areas or pathway. Just take a cold drink sit and take it all in if you aren't a beach goer.

A beautiful place ruined by Americans social problems. Zombies walking up and down, imagine pigeons begging for food. This is what it's like when you light a cigarette!

Lovely beaches and swimming areas. We were approached by a lot of homeless who are all over the beach area

Amazing beach! Water is warm and wasn’t too crowded when I was there mid week. Great beach close to downtown.

It is okay to stop by just to say you visited Waikiki beach but if you really want to enjoy a less crowded beach - go to Magic Island or to the south or north coast.

Actually, I found Waikiki Beach to be quite an ordinary beach, but in a wonderful setting. Lots of palm trees and bushes behind the beach and Diamond Head looming in the background. The beach is not overly wide and a breakwater fifty yards out is...More

Walked the beach both during the day & night surfers abound yet still plenty of room to swim soft sand with no decaying coral. At night plenty of light from the surrounding hotels with lots of activity from the beachfront hotels. Worth 2 visits at...More

It's Waikiki beach. It's exactly what you think it is, which is a tropical paradise. There are plenty of places to go surfing/swimming, and there are a number of restaurants that look out over the beach. I highly recommend eating at one of them around...More

It all depends on what time of year you go. We were there in Sept. and went to the beach everyday around 10 am. The temp was already in the mid 70's. Actually felt hot when in direct sunlight. Palm trees on the beach... More

Hi I was there in March this year & it was beautiful sunny & hot, lots of people but we didn't have any trouble finding a space to lie down & people watch. The water was clear but a little cold for me but my friend thought... More

No food on the beach, but basically any and all kinds on the main drag just behind the beach anywhere you decide to go!
