Mission Conception has some beautiful paintings in the interior, including traces of frescoes, one of which is a sun like design on the ceiling of the old library. The entrance features large, wooden doors and interesting architecture. Restrooms on premises, and a kiosk where you...More

You get a clear picture of just how significant and beautiful these missions were. The ranger talk was fascinating if a little long.

This is the main mission of the various ones around San Antonio. It is lovely and definitely worth the trip. If you can see all the missions from the furthest out to the closest in.

We went on the Mission Trail, so we very much enjoyed this Mission. They are all just beautiful, as we love the architecture, the inside beauty of the sanctuary, the history, and the walk around the grounds.

All 4 of the missions are worth stopping at. It was interesting to see the differences in each. All are also free with free parking so no real excuse not to go. Keep in mind all still have church services on Sunday.

We throughly enjoyed our visit to Conception. Mr. Valdez is exceptional at telling the history of the Missions and specfically about Conception. This is a must see especially if Mr. Valdez is available which is almost everyday. Highly recommend

This is probably the best preserved mission in its original condition. Much different from the missions that I had visited in California. Peaceful church. Great place to communicate with God.

Mission Conception is just one of the old missions along the famous Mission Trails. Each of them is unique and all are well worth the time to visit.

I recommend the movie at the visitors center and a guided tour if you really want to learn the particulars. I think $30 would be worth it for the multiple sites.
