About
The Paseo del Rio is San Antonio's favorite attraction. You can shop, dine, lounge in a cafe, or simply stroll along and let the strumming mariachi soothe your spirit.

My wife loved it sitting on a electronic power Tesla boat float among restaurants and hotels. Do the boat trip before eating you may find somewhere you would like to eat better that way. Numerous open riverside tables at most restaurants. Nice overall experience but...More

This shopping center at the river walk has great views and great places to eat. A walk or ride along the river is something very unique to only San Antonio. I will be back for sure

I really enjoyed the River Walk. I highly recommend taking a boat ride. It is a wealth of information about the city and the build of the canal. Many restaurants to pick from mostly chain restaurants. The atmosphere is amazing. I found the most fun...More

The stroll on the river walk was pleasant enough although the pedestrian traffic gets heavy at times. There is a large selection of restaurants to choose from and there is probably something for everyone. You don’t have to walk the entire thing to get the...More

What a great place! This is one of my favorite urban oases if not my all time favorite. The atmosphere is wonderful and beautiful and calming and busy with people most of the day. How could anyone not enjoy this creation?

The river walk was beautiful and their were tons of places to eat or drink. I would suggest the Go Rio boat ride for sure! It was very hot & humid today, so I enjoyed the boat more than the walk

Locals tell us the best time to come is in December due to the heat. Nicely landscaped with plenty of bars & restaurants with good views overlooking the river(?), basically a canal. Certainly a touristy area with prices that say so, but it was fun...More

Nice plantings. Lots of flowers and good bars with the occasional Mariachi Band. More a canal than a river. Very touristy. Lots of cheap souvenir shops.

A dirty river with tour boats loaded with tourists who paid for over-priced tickets to ride. Over-priced restaurants along the river who serve mediocre food. And, every once in a while, some 3rd rate performance from some local act or group. I don't get the...More

Hi Terry- while there is room by the boat drivers stand, it requires a step down to enter the boat. That being said, I would think they would be able to assist with a ramp or perhaps be able to assist you to sit in the... More
