While this visit might not conjure up much excitement for many, the visual impact is quite stunning and the history is absolutely fascinating. Take the time for the tour, you wont regret it.

Was really pleased with our tour of this wonderful historic Capitol building. Really was impressed with how well it has been maintained and the pride the people working there expressed.

I wish I could remember the name of our docent - he was in a class by himself. His tour lasted 90 minutes, and held our interest throughout. Sitting in the "old" hall of delegates while hearing about its history was a very memorable experience.

Nice Capitol, but not as nice as MN or NE, my adoptive state and home state. Didn’t see any symbols of the confederacy, for which I was grateful.

Love the style of architecture. The hill is nice for a picnic and enjoying a lazy day in the shade. There are some nice statues to check out as well.

I don't think you have to prearranged tours. They take place at various times throughout the day.
