This tide water glacier is large, almost like those of Glacier Bay NP, and also has enormous icebergs calving off at times.

It's melting, sad. It's also beautiful and worth the view from a boat or kayak. We saw it both ways, through Seward Ocean travels and Liquid Adventures via kayak.

We only saw Bear Glacier from a distance while on a sightseeing boat trip. It is quite close to Seward, our departure point. Even from a distance, it was still a beautiful sight, winding down to Resurrection Bay. I hope to return to kayak there...More

This glacier empties into Bear Lake. We saw this glacier while fishing in the Resurrection Bay area. It was a beautiful site to see and experience on our visit to Seward. MY RATING: 8/10

Depends of what mode of transportation you prefer. Liquid adventure kayaks are two person. Whereas with a SUP it’s just you. Personally I prefer the kayak cause you are paddling through ice.
