You can take the St. Charles line from the French Quarter, uptown to this beautiful, historic campus. It's very walkable and has a huge bookstore with apparel and more.

If you are in the area and you have some extra time, this is a nice place to walk around. There a lot of really beautiful homes in the area and it is all walkable.

Although I am a huge LSU Fan, the Tulane University is a beautiful campus to visit. Located in the heart of the Garden District, full of historic buildings. New Football and Baseball stadiums as well.

Even if you have no intention of enrolling in Tulane do pay the college a visit. Take the streetcar out of the city area to enjoy a place of peace, quiet, and serenity. You can walk the entire campus in about 30 minutes. Stop along...More
