This is such an interesting cemetery. Tour guides are very knowledgable about the cemetery and the history surrounding it. Highly recommend.

We came here on a tour so our entrance fee was included in the tour. I don't think I would have appreciated the cemetery as much without the tour. The tour guide explained how the graves work and why they needed to be this way....More

Didn't even check if there was an entrance fee.20 dollars plus the inevitable taxes per person for a 45 minute tour.Declined this as very steep & prefer to take time to look ourselves.Disappointing especially after a half hour walk.Certainly check any options before you go.

Tour was great, guide was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer a wide range of questions. This is part of the history of NOLA and a great hour of a day!

This was, for me, the most interesting place that we went. I saw above ground vaults that had people who were in the revolutionary war. Marie Laveau (the voodoo queen's toumb is there. All the stories our tour guide told us were very interesting

I may have had too high of expectations. Was disappointed that you had to pay to tour the cemetery and have a guide. We were not allowed to wander around and look at what interested us, we had to stay with our group. Full of...More

At the time we went (Oct 2017), you could go into the cemetery without a guide after paying an admission fee. The more recent answers indicate that policy has changed. Too bad, but when unsupervised people take advantage of... More
