This was probably cheesy 30 years ago. Today, it's awe inspiring. Not that it wasn't awesome 30 years ago, but back in the day there was a lot of commercialism that was making the experience a bit artificial. The crowds have died down, the commercial...More

Be careful where you drive. The sign stated that the pavement ended. We did not know that there was sand to get trapped in! Thank you French couple and Family with truck that pulled us out! Still loved the view.

We camped at the local CG in the park. The campground was lrege and pretty busy for early October. The lake is pretty, especially against the colorful rocks.

Fantastic overlook to catch some views of the lake! Every picture I took felt like a painting - it was that surreal. There are some nice hefty stones that you can sit on to enjoy the view. It was pretty windy at the top -...More

We had a boat trip in the canyon and heard that the water is 150 meter deep and its crystal clear because its melted snow from the mountains. Reddish stones, blue sky and blue water. Great!

Lake Powell has tours that leave from the marina, which is close to both the upper and lower Antelope canyons. The tours have designed hours of departures. We booked ahead of time so that we could take a llama tour after the canyon tour.
