I loved this! I wasn’t sure quite how good the area would be but it is truly amazing and well worth the trip out. We used a coach tour booked though Trip Advisor and it was well worth it. They stopped on the way back...More
We were really excited to see the Christmas displays but were a bit disappointed, given the distance to travel from Manhattan, and the fact that it wasn’t as spectacular as promoted. It is definitely a show of the neighborhood spirit, but we live in an...More
This was the first time the family traveled to see the Christmas lights at Dyker Heights. It exceeded our expectations. Best lights were on 83-85th streets between 11th and 13th Ave. We arrived at 4:20 PM the day after Christmas and easily found parking for...More
I would recommend venturing out to see the Christmas lights of Dyker Heights, it is truly unbelievable!
Such a nice thing for the residents to do to get tourists and locals together to celebrate a nice Christmas tradition.

Took the tour on Christmas Eve. Our driver was Alex (great driver) and our host was Jorge. We had amazingly light traffic so if you are around on Christmas this is a great night. Apparently the previous night tour was 4 hours, ours clocked in...More
Took this tour mainly in response to my disappointment at the generality of New York’s Christmas offerings which seemed to be limited to only a few retail stores, Bryant Park, Union Square, the ice rink at Central Park and of course the Rockefeller Plaza.
A display for all ages! Adults will appreciate the work and expense involved and children will try to absorb the fantasy the homeowners worked to achieve.
This is almost as good as the July 4th 💥 Fireworks!
We went with Slice of Brooklyn. They pick up in Union Square and do a guided tour.A couple of stops in addition to stopping by Dyker Heights. You then are dropped off back at UNion Square. We enjoyed it !!
