The pipeline and how it was constructed is truly impressive we had met someone in Anchorage who had been involved with the construction and ongoing maintenance so had some idea of what had been involved.

There's an exhibit about the pipeline in the Museum of the North at the Univ. of AK at Fairbanks. That site and the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center are both excellent sources of information about AK & Fairbanks.
