The statue and the footprints at the top of the step were great photos. Also, really neat to be able to see it in person. There are quite a few homeless people trying to sell things so keep an eye out.
Long lines all the time! Just go off to the side and take your picture there, it’s much easier and faster. There is an employee who takes pictures for you but I’m not sure if they work for tips or what.
Good little craft beer...More
Unfortunately, I didn't watch any of the movies before going there.. so didn't mean much to me!!
Now that I have watched the movies.... lol definitely regret not having taken 10000 pictures with the statue
When visiting Philadelphia for the first time, this is a must-visit, even if it is just for a quick photo op. When we arrived, we could park in front of the steps (husband stayed with the car), get out and take pictures with Rocky. There...More

There's some parking behind the Philadelphia Museum of Art, but the Art museum is on a traffic circle and getting to the parking can be confusing if you're not familiar with the area. It's a stop in the Hop On Hop Off buses if you are thinking of doing one of those. The Rocky Statue is to the right of the "Rocky Steps" (the ones people run up like Rocky. There's a nice view straight down the Benjamin Franklin Parkway from the top of the steps. BTW, the Art Museum itself is world class.

Pay only in sweat and shortness of breath. Awesome view of the city. The statue is free too. But there's always a line. Parking is tough. There are meters along the parkway, and pay lots at the art museum and Franklin institute.
