Allow at least 3 hours to see the entire museum. We did not and missed many of the exhibits. The layout of the floors would allow you to pick which areas of Jewish history interests you the most. However, every part was presented in interesting...More

The (temporary) good news is that the museum is free till some date in January. So if this museum visit is in your plans, do not delay. Not having to pay will soften the blow. . In my view, the museum fails because of the...More

Among the many cultural choices that Philadelphia has to offer we selected to visit the Ruth Bader Ginsburg special show in the beautiful Museum of American Jewish History. I personally was expecting a dry exhibit of the many accomplishments of RBG, but was surprised by...More

Good introduction to Jewish History in the US. It will give you an appreciation of the Jewish experiences and the challenges faced by the immigrants and how over time they became acculturated while still attempting to maintain their traditions and identities with varying degrees of...More

I was drawn in by the advert for the Notorious RBG exhibition but it wasn't on !!!! Gutted. Still enjoyed this place - particularly tracking the emigration across the states from ports of entry. Could have done more history on Levi Strauss for example. Lovely...More

A beautiful museum, thoughtfully laid out. Unfortunately, the guide for our tour was not very good which ruined our experience. Without her, it would have been more enjoyable.
