We stopped in for a drink and to take in the history of the place. It was Sunday afternoon and the place was quite busy. A total must see when in the area.

We were asked to stop by & get a t-shirt. The bar was clean and the staff were friendly. Directly across the street from the memorial also.

Lots of diverse and colorful people but not too noisy, drinks on the average price and good quality, friendly bartenders, second floor is where the band is and the dancing space. Patrons usually respect your space and the place is less on the wild side...More

Iconic gay bar in west village. Friendly bar. Reasonable prices and a pool table. Right in the heart of the gay part of New York. Easy to find. Look out for the flags. Normal selection of drinks and a relaxed atmosphere.

I wanted to see this legendary Greenwich village place! The ophotos that adorn the walls, partly tell the story behind the uprisings and, the activism. The current crew, fill in the blanks, while you participate in drinking and dancing! Really authentic!

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you

It’s best to buy tickets. This year marks the 50th year of the Stonewall uprising and will culminate in June 30th during Pride NYC. The 50 year anniversary will be celebrated from June 1st through the June 30th.
