Half term, Sunny dry day, and the High Line was packed!!! It’s a nice walk and be sure to do it, but be prepared as it took ages to walk purely based on the number of people taking advantage of a sunny day.

Beautiful outdoor walking trail but beware of large crowds when the weather is amazing. At one end is the gorgeous Vessel and at the other is Chelsea Market! We started at Hudson Yards and walked to the market where we had tacos and boozy milkshakes!...More

Quite busy when we visited on a Saturday. Try to avoid the weekend. Grasses and trees - not much colour, but it is autumn!

This is a cool way to walk about 25 blocks on Manhatton with no roads, traffic lights and crossings. It was an elevated railway line which became disused. It has been turned into a pedestrian walkway with trees and bushes planted along it's route along...More

A nice walk in New York, don't just walk it from start to end, go don't in the area, walk around a bit and then go up again. The total walk if you don't stop is about 30 min.

From what we read about the High Line, we were looking forward to its street stalls and buskers, but instead, found only a few street stalls and no buskers. It seemed like a ghost town. However, it was good to escape the noise of NYC and...More

Start at The Modern Museum and head north. Amazing architecture and views, so interesting art along the way.

Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the

Depends on how fast you walk, I’ve just had a knee replacement so was a bit slower. It also depends on how often you stop to look at things or take photos, plus how busy it is as it gets quite congested in the narrow parts.

One end of Highline is near the 14th and the other end 30th. After you get off you have to walk west a few blocks. Enjoy.
