Belvedere Castle is located inside Central Park and is a great stop for photos of the lush gardens and vast views. There is even a little pop-up gift shop at the top of a short staircase for maps of Central Park for under $2 and...More

Belvedere Castles is located inside Central Park and dates back to 1871. It's a nice stop if visiting the park, offering nice views towards the Great Lawn, but wouldn't exactly be a must see in the city. The park recently reopened in June 2019 after...More

This one of my favorite spots in Central Park. Such a well-designed structure with good views everywhere you look. They've done an amazing job restoring it and there's a little gift shop here too. All of the volunteer staff were very pleasant.

Stopped off to see this landmark on our bike ride. Easier to access from the west side of the park. Quite a nice view from the roof. No smurfs.

Came across this place by accident whilst walking through central park and pleasantly suprised. It's a lovely little spot in Central Park to take in the views from it's viewing platforms. It's not that big - it's a folly rather than a castle - but...More

It seems to be open with renovations happening in one area at a time, if at all.
