The exhibits are always interesting and relevant. The real treat is their evening programs of talks and films. Recently was treated to Jill Lepore - just fabulous - an added bonus was a copy of the book she spoke about. If you're hungry, they have...More

Just off Central Park (West) this museum is well worth a visit. There are regular screenings of short films about New York and several floors of interesting exhibitions, including a stunning display of Tiffany lamps. Highly recommended.

The films (We rise/New York Story) are excellent, and the Tiffany Lamps exhibit is very interesting, and pretty! This is a great museum, not crowded, with many other things to discover. I will go back very soon!

I try to visit this museum every time I’m in New York, and it never fails to deliver. While it may not be as flashy as some of the larger museums, every exhibit is thoughtfully curated and presented. The lower level has separate exhibits designed...More

The children's museum (lower ground), ground floor and first floor are open. Only half of the first floor is museum. Until they open the fourth floor don't bother.
