I must say I had to use the bridge and tunnels going onto it today and I was extremely impressed with how well they have done over the tunnels and upon the bridge itself. Everything looked so nice and clean. The tiles were all sparkling...More

It's a pleasant, uncrowded stroll from Chinatown to Brooklyn during the day on a weekday... Chain link fencing obscures views towards the Brooklyn Bridge and the metro makes some noise as it goes by but it's the kind of things one expects in NYC.

This bridge carries a lot of traffic, cars and trains, between Brooklyn and Manhattan. It serves an important purpose, but can get quite congested. Rises up above the river.

We stopped by between water street and front street for an iconic picture of the bridge. Lots of people after 10am. Try to go early to avoid people in your pictures.

Although the bridge is impressive as a structure and a work of art we didn’t enjoy walk. Since the bridge has several car lines and a subway lines it’s very very noisy. For safety reasons there are fences all over the bridge so it’s almost...More

One of the big bridges that link Brooklyn to Manhattan. Noble and lovely design. It's a workhorse taking lots of traffic both ways.
