This bridge is always busy no matter what time of day or night. The EX pass lanes make it easier to cross despite the $15 toll. The truck traffic can be daunting if they are in the far left lane. You must be careful merging...More

The bridge offers great views of the river - especially looking south where you can see New York and Jersey City on opposite sides of the river. There is a walking path - make sure you stay to the right so you don't get run...More

We love hitting The Geo Washington bridge on our trips south to Virginia. Usually wonderful nighttime views of Manhattan. Pouring rain on this Wednesday night but that old bridge saw us through our journey south. Till next time old friend.

I cross this bridge more times than I wish to. Usually for meetings at work. Just sweeping views of Upper Manhattan and Jersey. A nightmare to cross during rush hour, so allow plenty of travel time.

What a view of the skyline of New York as you drive east, (and of the setting sum as you drive west). I highly recommend getting on to the upper level of the bridge, which means you need to be in the left lanes as...More

We got right onto the George Washington Bridge from New Jersey to NYC (Manhattan). I've never been over it with such few vehicles before! In fact, one time while driving from Ohio to Maine, I got stuck on the GWB in a 5 hour traffic...More
