Any one who is an architecture buff will love this terminal. Multitude of reasonably priced eateries and shops in addition to train and subway accesses. Self and guided tours are available. Glad Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis had a part in the restoration of this beautiful edifice.

Better looking than the average public transport terminal, but I am not sure what the fuss is about. It does have a shopping complex but nothing that you could not find elsewhere in NYC.

This is the Grand Old Dame of train stations. Incomparable in architecture and as a public space. The decor is classic and massive. The vibe here is definitely more classic. That said if you want to use the train station to actually ride trains well...More

Again, this is just one of those things you need to see! The place is amazing! The size, the architecture, the feel for it, but honestly, 10 mins and you’re done. Gets some photos, soak it all up, maybe grab a coffee and a cake...More

The main lobby is very pretty with all of its architecture, but good luck trying to board a train there without getting lost. If you enjoy photography you will like Grand Central Station.

Absolutely! There are two bars inside the restaurant. Do try the food though, they are superb! Also, the menu is printed everyday, a good keep sake. :)
