NY City Hall may be impressive on the outside but it is lackluster inside. I saw the staircase/rotunda, the Hall of Governors, and the council chamber during a NY Open House weekend. Pretty much in and out in 15 minutes. Perhaps a guided tour would...More

A very attractive old building set in a pleasant park downtown. Famous and historic and an area well-served by the subway.

We were only able to see the building from the outside. The architecture is amazing and reminds you that NYC is an old city. It's so close to the Brooklyn Bridge, which makes it easy to visit if you're nearby. There is a lovely park...More

It’s a nice town hall in the...usual town hall style (plenty like this in Australia, for instance) but it gets a bit overshadowed in New York. The building nearby with the road going through stands out a lot more.

I walk through the park everyday before work. It's pretty and sometimes they have exhibitions or exhibits. Last year they had metal treeline structures.

We were doing a "Free Tours by Foot" Brooklyn Bridge walk and our starting point was at the Jacob Wrey Mould Fountain in the City Hall Park. While we were unable to see the interior of City Hall, we learned that it was constructed in...More
