What a great place to visit and spend some time. The views are spectacular, bring plenty of film, drawing or painting supplies. The green grass along side with the water and boats are very calming. Bring a blanket and food, stick around for a while.

Stayed in the area for a few days and went walking around a few times. Lots of walkers jogging picnics going on. I would say not the nicest or atmospheric area. Could take it or leave it

So the park is nice with plenty of people jogging, walking, biking as well as some folks doing some active water sports. The bay is completely placid, which is inviting for water sports but I'd call the area more "relaxing" than "entertaining". There are a...More

Unfortunately our stay at Mission Bay was ruined by ants. We spent hours trying to get rid of them. They were in every section of our motorhome. They did give us a different spot, but that did not help. The staff seemed like they didn't...More

We wanted to go to see the beach while we were visiting and picked Mission/Blossom Beach. Enjoyed walking up and down the board walk stopping at the little stores and such. I am sure kids would enjoy the rides they have there, like a mini...More

We visited the Fiesta Island area to hang out on the water. We were incorrectly told that it was a beach. It is in the middle of the bay so the water is muddy, full of seaweed, and isn't very beach like. We were also...More

My friend & I did an 11 mile bike ride on a weekday. The bicycle path goes all around the bay. Very scenic with lots of shady places to stop & rest along the way. It was wonderful!

The beach was beautiful and was a great place to watch the sun set. The board walk was nice and wide but was crowded.

YES! There are many areas all around Mission Bay, some with covers, some not. IN some areas there are also children's play structures. A favorite area with covers, bathroom and play area is at the northeast end of the... More

Yes there are tons of bike rental shops in Mission Beach. Just google them as you can find one every few blocks. It usually costs about $20 for the day. The boardwalk runs all along the bay and ocean
