There's not much Spanish about this place. It is full of overpriced 'art'. Easy walking distance to lots of museum. But for shopping head to the Bazaar del MundoMore

It is a nice collection of mostly artisan wears (with a little bit of touristy kitsch). Close enough to walk to from the Zoo as well as other Balboa Park museums.
