An iconic stop in SF, it is a must see. We had no problem finding street parking. Alamo Square was pretty packed, but it was still easy to take some great pictures of the houses.

Absolutely love full house, so had to visit the painted ladies and I was not disappointed. Such a lovely neighbourhood to wander around and a lovely park opposite. We ubered there and then slowly wandered back into town, which I’d recommend - too steep to...More

My husband and I stopped at the Painted Ladies while we were in town for Metallica's S&M2 at the grand opening of the Chase Center. We wanted to make sure we took in all of the iconic landmarks and we actually visited the Painted Ladies...More

Take in a view of the Pained Ladies from Alta Plaza Park and then be sure to enjoy the park, especially on a sunny day. The surrounding neighborhood is also an interesting walk.

Obviously this is a residential area, but if you have time to visit, add it to your list. There are some beautiful views from the top, besides the houses. The houses themselves are opposite a pretty square with shady trees. Although an iconic part of...More

Such a part of San Fran history. Beautiful houses. Fun to go to park across the street and watch sun set. My daughter loved seeing houses

We stumbled upon them while just driving around before sunset. They were kind of underwhelming in person to me personally, but we were able to park right on the side of the road and hop out real quick so it was worth it.

Visited at 5.30 on a warm September evening and the square opposite the painted ladies was packed. There is still lots of room to get that all important selfie with the TransAm building in the background.
