I didn't realize this is much more of a market than a destination to be able to sit down and eat lunch. Interesting places, but not a spot where it is easy to find seating - especially for our family of 6.

I tend to like this particular company. They have several tours developed around the City, and in the East Bay, all centered around eating/discovering delicious places and things to eat. I have not been disappointed with any of the tours I have taken with them...More

This building is in a lovely location by the water. There is a farmers' market on Saturdays (and Tuesdays I believe) that is the best I've ever seen.

Great little stores and shoppes. Can find some great little gifts here to take home. Unique shoppes. Also wine bar inside and cheese shoppes. Great restaurants right on the water!

We were looking forward to some interesting shopping in SF, but we didn't find it here. Very disappointing - soul-less mall with uninteresting chain shops. Very glitzy, but didn't even feel like going in any of the shops...

Great place for lunch and a little shopping. The Embarcadero Center is made up of -4- Buildings with bridges and passage way connecting each.

Our hotel was across the street from the center and it was filled with several shops. A variety of shopping was available and it was a convenient walk for us.

This was a good place to walk through but not much more. The shops aren't special, so it doesn't have a sense of life and action about it the way the Ferry Street Market does.

Shopping center is conveniently located next to Le Meridien hotel. We went to Breaking Bread Sandwiches twice for breakfast and were not disappointed. Great service, excellent fair. Highly recommend for breakfast, it looked like their sandwiches were fresh and tasty. I would recommend stopping here...More

Depending on where exactly your hotel is located, your best bet is BART since there are several stops along Market Street. The second best will be UBER.
