It is a very busy and crowded place. Several places to visit, seversl places to eat. All kinds of people, and tastes of different kind of foods.

Fun place to see. There are many restaurants and shops. The seals are fun to watch. We had delicious seafood at a little counter service resturant, checked out a few shops and watched the sunset from the upper deck. Parking is 7 - 12 dollars...More

All sorts of shops and restaurants around. The Eagle restaurant had AWESOME fish tacos and a great view of the water, from their deck.

Nice area but everyone raved about fisherman's warf. I don't see the whole appeal. We saw it, paid a fortune for lunch then moved on.

Pier 39 is a must to visit in San Francisco. It is great place to walk, see landmarks, visit places, shopping and most important find great and delicious food.

Tried the clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl. Was amazing. Just like fisherman’s wharf, very touristy but a must see when coming to San Francisco.

Always an easy place to meander round. Great food selection and tourist tat , always friendly and good to sit amongst it all, and of course the seals.

A wide range of shopping, food and sea lions!! It is very touristy but a cool vibe and nice to hang out in the bay. You got to at least visit pier 39.

We saw them at 10am, but right outside pier 39 there are floating piers just for them. I believe they come and go all day

I Recommend using public transport on in San Fran or Lyft . It’s too expensive to park anywhere .
