Stop and rest your feet next to I 84. Take in a great breath of fresh air. It's quiet refreshing exhilarating. Spend a little time on the old highway 30 as you travel through several falls in the area. It's like the old roads back...More

We were lucky enough to get a parking spot at Multnomah Falls so we took the Wahkeena Trail from there. The trail was an easy hike and not too far to get to the falls. We were glad we went to see this one because...More

Two options, you can walk across the street from a ample parking lot, to get right next to the base of the falls. You can also hike up a short trail to the top of the falls. Very pretty location.

Wahkeena Falls was our fourth waterfall out of six while driving down the Historic 30 Highway. It was beautiful and full of water. It’s a 0.2 mile hike from the parking lot, so less than a mile round trip. It has a little uphill hike...More

We did the Multnomah/Wahkeena falls loop, starting from Multnomah parking lot. The trail is well maintained and beautiful with lots of panoramic views and waterfalls. Note that the loop is about 7.5 miles with 1300 feet of elevation and then going back down. Bring food...More

The walk up to the falls is classified as easy but I’d say it was more moderate. The longer walk to the top of the falls has a view point but you can’t see the falls. You can walk on to some more falls though,...More

Taking the scenic old Columbia River Highway provides the opportunity to see many different falls, this being one of them. Not necessarily the most scenic, but still quite nice. Visited at the end of the day and not too many people here.

This was one of the several waterfalls along route 30 in the Columbia River gorge area that we stopped to see. It was nice and we went up partway, but not all of the way to the top. Very relaxing sightseeing.

This was 2 of my kids favorite of all the waterfalls we went too. They liked that, at the top, you got hit with a little spray. I know the walk is classified as relatively easy, but it is fairly steep.

Sorry, we were there right before the fires. I have no idea how the area is now. If everything is open, I would suggest parking at the park on the west side prior to the falls and walking the trail in, that was very... More
