We had not known about this travel option for the major medical centers in Portland. Very useful and an interesting view.

I tried the tram because I was told that it was a great way to see the city and yes it is! It can be a bit disconcerting that the tram is mostly used for people to travel back and forth from the hospitals, but...More

The view was ok though not what we’d hoped and blocked by some trees. The ride is very short it goes between two adjacent medical buildings. We drove across town expecting more, parked in the medical bldg lot, paid $16 total for parking and the...More

Nothing wrong with the tram - good view of the city and Mt Hood. However, don't make a special trip to do it - only if you're already in the area. All you do is ride up and down. Not anything else to do nearby.

The tram ride takes about 5 minutes and depending on the time of day can be very full. Taking photos was a bit difficult due to crowed tram, but nice views and does not take long. As others advised, a hospital is at the top,...More

A fairly brief ride up in in a shiny space-age pod with views across to Mount Hood. At the top is a hospital, but there's a pleasant terrace that is open to all, and good place to sit and enjoy the view before descending again....More

Amazing views when you get to the top, great little spot to get pictures. $5 for a return trip is a pretty good deal. Kids 6 and under are free

There isn't a huge deck at the top but enough for you to get a full view of Portland including Mt St Helens and Mt Hood in the distance. Lots of people and bikes and other material all go up the tram as this is...More

We walked out to tram just because we had heard about it it was OK but it just takes you up to the medical center so you just get off and ride the next one back down.

They cram a lot people into it and there is insufficient poles for people to hold onto. I felt very unsteady.
