Riverwalk from the du stable bridge to Navy pier is lovely in the warm summer, a few bars to sample along the way plenty of people, great views, not to be missed.

While the businesses are seasonally open and tend to be later in the day, the views are great, murals, too... places to sit and reflect... a fresh view of the great city!

Beautiful walk along the river. Several restaurants and pubs. Lots of tour boats and scenery. So much architecture to take in.

We did this on a cloudy almost rainy day, so our experience could have been better. A nice addition to the Chicago river. We ran into the bridge museum along the way, which was great.

Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a
good starting point to sample the city's energy and

There are only a very few restaurants on the walk itself. 1 is dog friendly. If you are asking about places "near" the river walk there are a few more. Do an online search for dog friendly dining guide.
