After a day walking around in old town it was nice to take a breath and walk through this quiet area. We went specifically to see the cross by the water. There is currently some construction going on in the area so we were unable...More

This was one of several stops we made in the general area. I found this to be a prayerful experience as well as a nice walk through a beautiful historic cemetery. Stop by, pray and take a walk. Also nearby, you can see the giant...More

There is a nice little museum with an empty coffin for Aviles, the founder of St. Augustine. The nice shrine on the spit of land has to be reached by a ramshackle walkway around construction tape, because the footbridge is still being repaired from hurricane...More

I wandered around here alone taking photos and walking the beautiful grounds. I rsted in the shade, prayed for my family and friends and left there feeling renewed and at peace.

This is a lovely area to walk the gardens and see the stations. The shrine is a sacred place to meditate, pray and or light a candle. The history of the great cross is truly amazing as it was a gift from the Vatican, and...More

I love to come to this special place. The grounds are so pretty and a pleasure to walk and simply view the surroundings. The Mission building is small and very comforting. I enjoy just going in and sitting for a few minutes. There is also...More
