Lovely day out at this park. 7th time and still love this. Will never got old. We had fast passes as stayed over at Hard Rock Hotel which i would definitely recommend as the wait times are so ridiculous without.
Theme parks don’t get much better than Island of Adventure !! Perfect mix for all ages. Get there early to get the best out of the park. We were lucky enough to ride the new Hagrid ride and it was the best ride in the...More

Something for everyone, kids 6 & 11. Disney better for the younger ones but rides/attractions here are great for all. Stay in a on site hotel to get the universal express pass to avoid queuing👍More

Are you getting the 2 park pass or just 1? If 1, then you'll on the Island's of adventure side. The front of the park is filled with marvel comics shops. And rides. The characters do come out, but at specific times. They usually ride there motorcycle/ can-am's into the streets. The dinners/ character meets are quite expensive. And honestly, I haven't heard anyone raving about them.
But there are many rides your kids can get on. Dr. Seuss land is cute and its geared towards the kids. (We personally loved it, and it was all adults visiting) Jurassic park has a few rides. And there's an activity center there. If you want to learn about more about the dinosaurs. Its kinda cheesy, but some kids liked it. Harry Potter has 1 kids coaster, the other 1. Forbidden journey is a bit dark. And it does throw you around pretty good. The popeye area is another good place to take them. I believe there is enough, for them to do there. But if you do go to, the original Universal studios. They have a Woody wood pecker play area. Also they have a Simpsons area. And the E.T. ride is very mild, along with the men in black ride. There's another Harry Potter land on this side as well. The ride is a little more mild, but still is a bit dark for younger kids. I found there are more shows on this side, then the Island of adventure side. I do hope this helps with your decision to visit Universal studios. Have fun on your trip, and God bless!
