Built in 1916 as a winter retreat, this lavish villa is a tribute to the Italian Renaissance. The museum contains much of the original furnishings and artwork, and is surrounded by lush, formal gardens.

A must see for folks who have a few days in Miami and want to admire this Italianate mansion. Teleport yourself back to the life of the wealthy industrialists from hundred years ago.

Had a blast visiting the Vizcaya museum! Art was full of so much detail and it was just so peaceful! It’s also great for photos. If you get a chance to visit Miami this is one of the places you should come and see.

I love this place, its historical, beautiful, and an amazing place to visit. The Gardens and house are not to be believed. If you are wanting to see a part of south Florida history this is a good place to start.

I got a glance of the gardens outside, because they close early, and not working every day. And because of that I didn't had an option to visit it properly. Not cool guys

Very nice tour of the home and gardens. Well worth the trip. I’m many ways it reminds me of Hearst Castle. However, I would say that Hearst Castle has more “purchased” European antiquities. It’s amazing that the home is built on a coral reef!
